If your pet is not feeling well, we will perform a complete "nose-to-tail" examination. During this examination, we will look at, listen to, and palpate (or touch) your pet in order to find abnormalities.

We will perform a full physical examination as well as asking you questions about the behaviour of your pet. The answers to these questions help us greatly in determining the problem with your pet .So before you come try and take note of such things as appetite, urge to drink, what their faeces and urine look like and whether there is any lameness, limping, weakness or anything else out of the ordinary.

Following the physical exam, we may order a laboratory evaluation that includes different tests. These tests may be needed in order to confirm a possible diagnosis or to continue with the initial diagnostic workup.

If we suspect abnormalities or signs of disease, we may investigate further by using diagnostic tests such as X-rays, ECG’s, blood pressure monitors and or fine needle aspirates (a fairly quick and easy biopsy technique.)
