P U P P Y S C H O O L
The first 16 weeks of a puppies life is their early experience period. It is equivalent to the first 3 years in a human toddler and is a great time to try and mould their character favourably. This is what puppy school is all about. Young puppies get socialised to other pups and people in an environment designed to foster this happening in a favourable way.
Initially the pups are a bit circumspect
One of the main causes of aggression in later life in dogs is fear of other people and dogs so any chance we get to imprint a pup such that this does not happen is good.
Then after a while they become great mates
They are run by a Vet nurse and so this is a good time to ask any questions that you may have as well .Usually the puppy schools run for 4 weeks.
